Song of the South – Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear Mock Br’er Rabbit (1946)

Song of the South from 1946, released by RKO Radio Pictures and produced by Walt Disney.  The film takes place after the end of the American Civil War and the abolition of slavery in the southern United States during the Reconstruction era.

The story-teller Uncle Remus, a worker on the plantation, tells stories about the adventures of Br’er Rabbit, Br’er Fox, and Br’er Bear.
